The primary objective was to synchronize efforts and devise a cohesive strategy for Africa, delineating the pivotal role of Kreston Africa in driving the continent’s development agenda.
During an intensive ideation session, the committee meticulously crafted a regional blueprint aimed at fostering enhanced collaboration among African firms, with the overarching goal of uplifting the entire region. Central to this plan were initiatives focused on comprehensively understanding the spectrum of services offered by each firm, thereby gaining insights into the region’s collective capabilities. Additionally, efforts were directed towards identifying regional clients with international operations and orchestrating an Africa regional meeting housing a myriad of strategic initiatives.
The core elements of the plan encompassed a thorough service capability audit, a robust business development project tailored to regional clients, joint training sessions covering a diverse array of subjects, and concerted efforts to raise awareness of regional capabilities through various channels including credentials statements, newsletters, and an Interpreneur campaign. Moreover, the plan proposed the implementation of a structured program for secondments or internships targeting younger staff members and advocated for the establishment of regular regional committee meetings to sustain momentum and drive progress.
